Justin Dodd – Lead Mechanical Engineer
Justin is the lead mechanical engineer at Humanistic Robotics, Inc. Justin’s main responsibilities at HRI include concept development, engineering design and analysis, verification testing and prototype fabrication. While at HRI, Justin has developed procedures and instrumentation for accurately testing the performance and survivability of the Company’s land mine clearance roller prodcuts. Through the use of material analysis, FEA, and prototype testing, Justin successfully designed numerous high-strength steel components able to withstand the destructive force of land mine explosives. Justin also manages the fabrication and assembly process of HRI’s roller products.
Prior to Humanistic Robotics, Inc., Justin was a senior engineer and project manager for Christini Technologies, where helped develop the world’s only current production All-Wheel Drive motorcycle system and designed an integration kit that would allow the technology to be applicable to major motorcycles brands, including Honda, Kawasaki and KTM. Justin also led the technical division of the company’s professional racing team, which helped to refine and test the system before production.
Justin received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University. He has extensive experience developing, testing and managing production of mechanical systems.
